Your organization is on display in the social media universe. Customers, partners and potential employees look at the LinkedIn profiles of yourcurrent (and former) staff to learn about you. They follow key employees over to Facebook and Twitter to see what they're like and what they say. Google search results bring up local reviews and comments - some from your customers (and competitors) and some from your own people!
Does your company have a social media policy? Do you offer development classes or guidance or coaching to help them create, develop and nurture their on-line presence?
Particularly with LinkedIn, you can help shape the whole world-view of your organization through the sum of your staff's individual profiles.
